Harlem Apt #18
Now, before you say anything, give us a chance to reintroduce Harlem to you! While Harlem used to be known as a very “ghetto” place BUT it’s changed now.
Nowadays, Central Harlem is drawing fans from all over the world.
The neighborhood ranges from the north end of Central Park at 110th Street to the Harlem River, and from 5th to St. Nicholas Avenues.
The neighborhood actually possess a rich historical background accompanied by wonderful architecture.
In fact, many famous people are associated with Central Harlem like the Queen of Soul-Aretha Franklin, Maya Angelou,
and James Brown (look up the Apollo theater and you will know what we mean ;)
When it comes to restaurants, you cannot go wrong with Belle Harlem. Our recommendation are the Grilled Short Loin Lamb Chop Meyer lemon with mint Gremolata.
The Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon with Ginger sweet Potato Purée is also super delicious!
If you are in the mood for ethnic food, try Benyam Cuisine –a famous Ethiopian restaurant.
The food here is cooked with delicious mild yet tasty spices. Don’t hesitate to ask for some mitmita (the restaurant’s signature spice) for a more flavorful dish!
